Primary School Programs
Depending on your child’s ability and receptivity, lessons will run the gamut from the basics of language mastery to introducing rudimentary critical thinking skills through discussions designed to improve your child’s communication level.
We focus on teaching students exactly what is required for all the question formats and components required by MOE Curriculum in order to ACE in English. These include:
- Vocabulary – Defining and using unknown words correctly in a context of a sentence via cloze passages
- Oral Communication – Expressing thoughts, opinion confidently and fluently
- Comprehension – Active reading strategies, identifying question types and appropriate answers
- Composition – Mastering formats and strategies for different essay types
- Critical Thinking – Introducing and developing rudimentary critical thinking and reasoning skills to evaluate information presented in passages
- Grammar – Improving via exercises in editing, sentence reconstruction, synthesis and transformation
Singapore’s emphasis on bilingualism enables us to tap opportunities in the global environment. Our primary school teaching curriculum complies with and adheres to the “Chinese Curriculum Standard for Primary Schools” by the Ministry of Education (MOE).
Our classes focus on laying and cultivating a solid foundation for a student’s language abilities in the following areas:
- 汉语拼音 Chinese phonics (Hanyu Pinyin)
- 会话练习 Conversational Skills
- 朗读训练 Reading Aloud
- 语文应用 Language Application – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- 短文填空 Short Phrases – Fill in the blanks

Math underpins many aspects of our everyday lives and a good understanding of math is therefore essential as it provides a vehicle to train the mind and to develop the capacity to think logically, abstractly, critically and creatively. Recognising that individuals have different starting points, natural abilities and learning interests, our primary school program aim to build confidence and foster interest with (but are not limited to):
- Step-by-step problem solving
- Exposure to different problem-solving methods eg. Guess and Check, Model Drawing, Unitary etc
- Learning different concepts & heuristics eg. Internal Transfer, Total Unchanged, Constant Difference, etc
- Hands-on practices
- Out of the box thinking

Singapore’s science curriculum seeks to nurture the student as an inquirer, curious about and wanting to explore the things around them. Science education involves teaching students more than just the basic concepts of science. Our programs equip learners with the skills to identify questions, and to derive conclusions via:
- Hands-on experiments
- Keywords application
- Clarifying misconceptions
- Answering techniques for MCQ, and open-ended questions
- Science concepts emphasised through quizzes and videos
- Challenging deeper understanding in using keywords and concepts
